Join us this Friday, August 23, for an evening packed with excitement and community spirit! Enjoy free entry and witness the groundbreaking ceremony for the new gym. The event will feature a stunning fireworks display, delicious concessions with great prices, and a fun-filled dunk tank where you can find out how to participate. Plus, glowsticks and wands will be available for purchase. Don’t miss out on the fun—see you there! 😃
Ram fans - join us Friday, August 23rd for our 2nd Annual Community Pep Rally. The gates open at 5:30pm and entry is free. We will have games; a dunk tank; food; showcase booths; snow cones; introductions of fall and spring sports, Beta Club, and PJHS Quiz Bowl; a performance by the Paragould Pride marching band; and we will end the night with FIREWORKS! Bring your friends and family to this night of fun. Open to the public - we invite all Ram fans to join us!

Help us spread the word - the School Choice Deadline is May 1st. If you have friends or family who want to join the Ram Family but don't live in the district attendance zone, this is their chance! Make sure they get their paperwork turned in by May 1st. It can be dropped off at our administration building located at 1501 West Court Street. Earlier today, Summit Utilities discovered a small gas leak just off of the gas meter at School of the 21st Century. While the leak has been contained, we have made the decision to close School of the 21st Century tomorrow to allow time for necessary repairs as well as a thorough inspection. Please be assured that the situation is under control and there is no immediate danger, however, we will not have heat in the building until the situation has been addressed. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation in this matter.

The District is currently exploring calendar options for the 2024-2025 school start date. We are asking for your feedback. Would you support efforts in seeking a waiver to start the 2024-2025 school year as soon as August 12, 2024, in place of August 19, 2024? The Paragould Police Department is investigating a threatening note found on the Junior High School Campus. They have determined where the note originated and have arrested the student that wrote the note. The District encourages parents to speak with their children about the seriousness and potential consequences of making threats, even as a joke. All threats are taken seriously and investigated, and any students caught making threats may face possible criminal charges and expulsion from school. Student safety will always be paramount within the Paragould School District.
