S21C provides a high quality service to parents for children ages birth to 3. By being a Better Beginnings program, low ratios are maintained at all times with staff and children. A researched based curriculum is used with state mandated assessments to provide the parents with an overview of the children on specific readiness skills. The school is staffed by certified early childhood teachers and assistants of high quality. The staff is provided with many opportunities of in-service to have the best knowledge of child development. Children have a schedule to include inside and outdoor play while working on a broad range of skills and knowledge to be more successful in school. All children are blended together in the classroom to provide every child with the same opportunity of learning.
S21C provides a high quality program with affordable fees for parents. Vouchers are available for parents that qualify from the Department of Human Services.
S21C provides parents each month with a variety of speakers and classes to learn about child development and other topics. In addition, there are meetings provided for children to interact with their parents on literacy. Child care is always available to allow the parent to learn while their child is having fund. Family nights, “make and take” opportunities and open houses are available during the year. Parents are always welcome to come and visit their child’s classroom as well as eat lunch with their child.
S21C assists parents in learning of consumer product recalls. An updated notebook of recalls issued by the Consumer Products Services Commission is available in the office. You can also go to cpsc.gov to search the recall list, report an unsafe product, or join their email list for recall notices.
