Attention Parents and Students of PJHS:
Friday, January 7th we will be using Day 2 of our AMI days. Your child was given printed copies of their AMI work which can also be accessed through Google Classroom. They will need to do the work for Day 2 and then turn it into their teachers when they return to school.
Friday, during the regular school hours of 8:00am-3:15pm, students and parents can email their teacher with any questions they may have about the work.
Thanks for your help in ensuring that students are staying engaged in their academics during this inclement weather, and we hope that everyone stays safe!

As winter is upon us so is the potential threat of wintry weather and possible school closures. The letter below is from our superintendent, Dr. Jankoviak, and outlines the AMI process that PSD will utilize this year in case of school closures. Packets will come home tomorrow (Wednesday 1/5/22). Please keep these in a safe place until they are needed.

Students involved in the EAST program at Paragould High School are working together with the Downtown Paragould association to host a “Keeping Paragould Warm” drive. Donations of new and gently used coats, gloves, socks, blankets, toboggans, etc. will be accepted in the EAST room at Paragould High School until Thursday, December 9th. GO RAMS! ❤️🐏💙

PJHS recently received a donation of venison snack sticks for their backpack program from Arkansas Hunters Feeding the Hungry. This outstanding organization received a grant from the Greene County Community Foundation to make these donations possible.

PJHS EAST students are spreading holiday cheer all around the building!

We began a new tradition this year. Senior athletes are choosing the teacher who made the most impact on their life and presenting them with an invitation to join them at Senior Night and a t-shirt with their name on the back. Today we are thankful for new traditions and for our faculty who truly does MAKE A DIFFERENCE!

Today we are thankful for students learning to use an Atlas and the globe and for an Assistant Principal who takes time out of his day to work one-on-one with a student on math homework.

Today we are thankful for students teaching students; Behaviors are Marvelous (BAM) events that celebrate exceptional behavior; and students who are thankful to our community helpers.

Today we are thankful for students who are able to get hands on learning in our science classes and labs.

The next few hours we are going to highlight some of our scientists in training that we are thankful for! Our Rams learned about germination, magnetic force, bats, and how to calculate constant speed. That's exciting stuff! Post 4 of 6
