Oak Grove Middle School will NOT have After School Tutoring on October 24th or October 31st. Monster Mash BAM event is on the 24th from 6-8. Please follow guidelines on drop off and pick up. These are being sent home today with students that are eligible to attend the dance. ONLY THE BEST AT OGMS!
OGMS students that were on Principals List or Honor Roll got an extra treat this afternoon. “Hot Dog, You are on a roll” festivities took place this afternoon for the 279 OGMS students that received these awards. They got a snack and some extra outdoor time. So proud of all our students. ONLY THE BEST AT OGMS!
Great day of celebrating major accomplishments at OGMS today. Students that received Perfect Attendance were treated to Pancakes with Principals and Pace. We had over 170 students that got to eat due to not missing any days the first 9 weeks. Way to go OGMS students.
Red Ribbon Week at OGMS. Today was hat day with special presentation on diversity. The focus was to accept people, be nice and make friends. We were treated with some special dancing students. These students have Marshallese roots and showed us some dance moves from their culture. They were wonderful and our kids loved watching them. Paragould school district is made up of 19 Native languages and OGMS has 11 of them on our campus. ONLY THE BEST AT OGMS! Tuesday is camo day!
Today at OGMS we rewarded all our Accelerated Readers. We are so proud of all their reading accomplishments and look forward to seeing how many books and words they read this year. Special thanks to Officer Pace, Mr Matt and Mrs Kathy Cook for helping out. Snow cones for Readers!!

5th grade social studies classes were privileged to receive a visit from Captain Michael Harris, Firefighter Jackson Quinn, and Firefighter Blake Maynard of the Oak Grove Fire Department. Students got to learn about fire safety from these excellent community helpers. Thank you, gentlemen!
6th grade science classes participated in an outdoor lab in which they studied the pathways of stimulus through nerves in the body's nervous system.

GOOD NEWS! Little Caesars Pizza kits were delivered early. They can be picked up starting NOW. Please come to the front office for pickup and they will direct you!
It's Pizza! Pizza! Day! If you sold Little Caesars Pizza kits, pick up is this afternoon from 2:30-5:00 in the Multipurpose Room. All kits must be picked up today since we do not have room to store them.
