ALP students in Mrs. Starla’s class celebrated National Smartie’s Day on October 2nd. Students learned about the inventor of the candy, the production of the candy, and how much math is used in the factory that produces Smarties. Seventy thousand pounds are produced each day. Each day, the factory produces enough Smarties to fill up two school buses. Students used a roll of Smarties and a group of supplies to create something “new and different.” #ALP #advancedlearningprogram

Baldwin ALP students were introduced to a new program called Imagine Robodify which allows them to code and use their imaginations. They are the first students in Arkansas to use this program.
