
PHS Dancers had a clean sweep this weekend at the Sheridan Invitational Dance Competition! They took first place in all four categories: Jazz, High Kick, HipHop, and Pom. Senior Aaron Fisher and Junior Molly Linam placed first in Ensembles, while Sophomore Natalie Horner placed first in Solos! It's a great day to be a Ram! #psdrams

Congratulations to Paragould Junior High for being recognized by the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education as a "School on the Move". PJHS is one of five middle/junior high schools in the state earning growth scores two standard deviation (2.0 SD) or more above the mean on the 2019 ACT Aspire Assessment. The growth score for PJHS is 85.54! Great Job! #psdrams

The Smoking Skulls Riding Club donated $575.00 in shoe gift cards to PSD. With the help of OGE secretary and Shoe Sensation employee Tiffany Beasley, school counselors Stephanie Elmore and Kristy Ford shopped for shoes and were able to purchase 37 pair of shoes for K-6 students. Thank you so much to Smoking Skulls Riding Club for the donation and to Ms. Beasley for assisting with the shoe purchases! #psdrams


Sam Wood placed 11th with a time of 26:59 at the Cross Country Race on the Ridge, while Beau Burbank placed 9th with a time of 20:28. PHS placed 6th overall. Congratulations Rams!!

The Dance Showcase was a success! PHS student, Alex Brewer sang the National Anthem and PHS dance team alumni returned to dance at the event. Both PJHS and PHS dance teams worked together with coach Jennifer Wallace to raise funds to attend Nationals next February. Great job! #psdrams
