Greenbrier stopped by to present them with a soldier's tribute as a thank you to all they did for them on Veteran's Day.

The Arkansas State Teachers Association awarded Mrs. Horn, PHS 11th/12th grade counselor, a $500 grant to help provide yoga equipment for her Movement for Mental Health RTI class. It's a great day to be a Ram!
The Paragould School District was able to provide a Thanksgiving meal to more than 30 families thanks to the generous donation from members of the Junior Auxiliary. Pictured here is Ms. Sydney Watts who spearheaded the program. We are thankful and grateful for all JA does for the kids in our community.
Members of our JROTC recently went to Belle Meade and Greene Acres to visit with residents. While there, they helped celebrate Mr. Ed Woodard's 105th birthday! Nope, not a typo. Mr. Woodard turned 105 years young. Thankful for the opportunity our students had to visit with the residents of these two establishments.
Today we are thankful for Officer Hall and his wife, Amy, who fixed scrambled eggs and biscuits with chocolate gravy for staff and students of Ram Academy. For several adults and kids, this was their FIRST taste of chocolate gravy. Yum!

On September 19, 2024 a group of 20 Paragould High School gifted and talented students attended a St. Bernards robotics day competition. Our PSD students were provided with the opportunity to experience what it is like to use a surgical robot. We would like to congratulate our Paragould students and staff for winning the competition. We would also like to thank St. Bernards for allowing our students to be a part of this unforgettable experience. Go Rams!

Each year the Paragould Rams and Greene County Tech Eagles face off on the football field in a tradition called “Battle for the Bell”. The hosting team designs a T-shirt that is sold within the community and all proceeds go to a local charity of their choice. This year the Rams will host the Eagles on Friday, November 8th and proceeds from the sale of the t-shirts will be donated to TOGETHER WE FOSTER. The order form below has all of the information you need to place your order. While we may battle on the field, we join together off the field to make a difference within our community.

Arkansas students in grades 3-10 took a new state test in the spring of 2024 through the Arkansas Teaching & Learning Assessment System (ATLAS). In addition, students in grades K-3 recently completed the ATLAS Screener. You can access information about your child’s performance through the ATLAS Family Portal. This resource includes the results of your child’s performance on all ATLAS tests. Information regarding how to access scores was sent home with your child today. Authorities are investigating comments that were made by a high school student regarding a gun. The student in question is not on campus. At no point was anyone in harms way. The District will follow investigative protocol. We encourage parents to speak with their children about the seriousness and potential consequences of making threats, even as a joke. Student safety is and always will be paramount within our school district.

Tomorrow is one of our favorite events - DIG FOR THE CURE! This is the 17th year for this event. Show your support by wearing your DFTC shirt or pink and come cheer on your Lady Rams volleyball team as they take on our crosstown rivals. All takes place at the Doc starting at 5:00pm. Go Rams!

The Paragould School District has been made aware of a random social media post with language referencing a fire alarm, etc. Although the post was random, and not specifically directed towards the Paragould School District, authorities were notified. Out of precaution, additional officers will be on site tomorrow. Parents are encouraged to check their child's social media for any concerning behavior. All threats are taken seriously and investigated. Any students caught making threats or sharing random threats on social media may face possible criminal charges. Student safety is and always will be paramount within our school district.
