Arkansas students in grades 3-10 took a new state test in the spring of 2024 through the Arkansas Teaching & Learning Assessment System (ATLAS). You can access information about your child’s performance through the ATLAS Family Portal. This resource includes the results of your child’s performance on all ATLAS tests. Friday, October 18 is the last day to pre-order your chili dinner for the Family STEAM Night!!! Dinners are $10 per plate. Orders can be picked up after school or enjoyed at the Family Night. Contact Jennifer Langston, jlangston@paragouldschools.net for more information.

The Paragould School District has been made aware of a random social media post with language referencing a fire alarm, etc. Although the post was random, and not specifically directed towards the Paragould School District, authorities were notified. Out of precaution, additional officers will be on site tomorrow. Parents are encouraged to check their child's social media for any concerning behavior. All threats are taken seriously and investigated. Any students caught making threats or sharing random threats on social media may face possible criminal charges. Student safety is and always will be paramount within our school district.

Mark your calendars for Monday, October 21st as our students showcase their amazing projects during STEAM Night in the PJHS cafeteria! This event helps raise funds for STEAM club competitions and supplies.

All students at the junior high and high school are fine. A fire alarm was activated due to a faulty smoke detector. The alarm has been silenced. The fire department was called to ensure both campuses are safe. All students have resumed classes.
