2024 Prom/Grand March Information:
Students participating in Grand March on Saturday, April 20, 2024, need to be at the auditorium by 5:30 to prepare and line up for Grand March. Doors to the school will open at 5pm to allow parents/students time to take photos prior to Grand March. The Sr. Slide show will be shown immediately following Grand March. At the conclusion of the Sr. slide show, an announcement will be made informing students of when the doors to the dance will open. Parents are not allowed into the dance. Any photos with parents need to be made in the auditorium. The dance will be on campus in the new Band Complex. Following the completion of Grand March, the doors will open for Prom entry. All students and their guests will be checked in at the door and must have a ticket to enter the dance.
All PSD campuses will be closed on Monday, April 8, 2024 due to the total solar eclipse. Glasses, as well as information regarding the eclipse, was sent home with students today. We hope you are able to enjoy this incredible event!
Just a reminder, PSD will NOT be in session on Monday, April 8th.
We would like to congratulate Keller Hall on being named the recipient of the ASU License2Howl Scholarship. Keller is one of only eight students in Arkansas to receive this award.
Prom tickets will go on sale during both lunches starting today, April 4, and will be sold until Friday, April 19. Tickets will be $15 each. If you are bringing a guest who is not a currently enrolled PHS junior or senior, you will need to sign them up when you purchase their prom ticket.

PHS Juniors will be taking the ACT tomorrow, Tuesday, March 26th. This will be administered online, so students will need to make sure they bring their charged chrome book to school.
Paragould High School Driver's Education course will be offered June 3-June 21 from 8-10 a.m. each day. Students must have a Driver's Permit or Driver's License to sign up. To sign up contact Coach Hollis in room 40-406 or email rhollis@paragouldschools.net. Space is limited to the first 15 students.
Student 3rd nine weeks report cards are now posted in Home Access Center (HAC). To view, login your HAC account, then click the 'grades' tab for the 3rd nine weeks.
Just a reminder, PSD will not be in session next week, March 18th-22nd.
PHS Juniors,
As a reminder, the ACT will be given on school campus Tuesday, March 26th. This is the first Tuesday after Spring Break, so it is approaching quickly. This test will be given online, meaning you will need to make sure that your chromebook is fully charged the day of testing.
Your testing locations will be emailed and communicated with you all on Monday, March 25th. Testing will take place in the 8-classroom building, so you will all be testing in that location, again, your room assignment will be communicated on Monday, March 25th.
Lastly, if you opted-in for sharing your scores with colleges, you will complete this survey on Monday, March 25th with Mrs. Horn. You will begin this in the auditorium during 3rd period. Again, this is only for the students that filled out the opt-in form.

Jostens will be on campus Monday, March 11th for initial cap/gown deliveries for PHS seniors during 3rd period.

Our theme this year is "It Takes a Village"
Well, our village showed up and showed out and helped us PASS the bond restructure! We are beyond thankful to everyone who voted FOR the Rams! Let's continue to work together towards achieving our goals and driving the Paragould School District to new heights. Our village is strong! Great things are happening and even greater things are to come.
