
11 of our 8th grade Algebra 1 students participated in the ACTM Regional Mathematics contest in early March. They worked diligently on an Algebra 1 test that consisted of 25 multiple choice questions and 3 tie-breaker questions. They had a time limit of 45 minutes. The results are in, and we are THRILLED to announce that Dalen Burroughs earned 1st place, Aubrie Cole earned 3rd place, and Kylie Davenport was recognized as a top finisher. Congratulations!

Attention PHS Seniors and Parents: Brown's Graduation will be on campus on Tuesday, April 5th. They will be here to deliver caps and gowns, and other graduation items that students have ordered and have paid for. If a student wishes to make a payment on Tuesday, they may do that.
If you are needing to make a final payment and pick up your items after Tuesday, April 5th, 2022, then you will need to go to Brown's Graduation in Jonesboro to make the payment and pick up the items.

When we say our SROs, administrators, teachers, and faculty go above and beyond, THIS is what we are talking about! A student wanted to be able to get himself to and from extracurricular activities so today SRO, Cpl Jeff Shirley bought and delivered a bike to him. We don't know who was more excited - Zander or those staff members who got to witness it. Peep the sign in the third picture - HUMAN. KIND. BE BOTH. It's a great day to be a RAM!

Attention PHS Parents of Seniors and Juniors:
Brown's Graduation Supply from Jonesboro will be on the PHS campus on Wednesday, Feb. 16th for two reasons:
1) For any Senior who has not been measured and/or ordered a cap and gown for graduation.
2) For any Junior to pick up the class ring that they ordered and have paid for it.
If you need to take care of one of these two things please do that while they are here on campus. If you are not able to take care of this while they are here, you are welcome to go to their store in Jonesboro.
Brown's Graduation Supply will accept payment for class rings while they are here on campus on that day as well.
Please note that for those Seniors who have already ordered their graduation items, they have not arrived yet. Brown's Graduation Supply will be coming back to PHS to deliver those items when they do.

The ACT® is a national college admissions examination recognized by universities and colleges in the US. The State of Arkansas will provide one opportunity for all Arkansas 11th grade students to test at their respective high schools during spring of 2022. Note that the ACT is offered throughout the year at different testing sites, but the State is sponsoring the spring administration dates below only.
