The web address for HAC has changed. This change has caused the eSchool Plus Family app to be temporarily unavailable. The app developer is working on this problem.
You can still check HAC using a browser by visiting paragould.k12.ar.us - Menu - Home Access Center Login. Guardian and student login information did NOT change. If you don't remember your login info, you can get it from the main office at your student's school.
Paragould has two virtual days on the calendar for 2021: Monday, January 18 and Monday, February 15.
*Pre-K, S21C, and virtual students will attend school as normal.
*No K-12 grade students will attend on campus that day.
*K-12 grade students who normally attend on campus will take their Chromebooks and chargers home on the preceding Friday and will attend school virtually on virtual days through Zoom and Google Classroom.
*Teachers will assist students with making sure virtual day materials are available offline by the preceding Friday for students with no Internet connection outside school.

PSD now offers access to GoGuardian Parent, a mobile app to help keep parents/guardians aware of your children's activity on school-issued devices and provide you with additional controls during out-of-school hours.
What is included in this app:
-Top 5 summary of student browsing (apps, extensions, documents, and websites visited)
-Teacher interventions
-A 30-day view of websites, videos, documents, apps, and extensions
-Ability to block websites on school-issued devices during out-of-school hours
-Ability to pause internet access on school-issued devices during out-of-school hours, either on-demand or at a scheduled time
To access the app, please follow the below instructions:
Download the app
iPhone: Visit App Store, search for GoGuardian Parent, and tap the download button.
Android: Visit Google Play Store, search for GoGuardian Parent, and tap the download button.
After the app is successfully downloaded and installed, open it up, and enter the email address registered with the school. Note: If you forgot your registered email address, please reach out to your school.
Login/Check Email: Check your email on your phone for a link to log in to the app. Tap the "Verify your email", and it will take you straight to the app. Note: If you don't have access to your email through the device you used to log in, tap on "Login with verification code", and copy and paste the verification code from the email into the app
Attention OGMS virtual learners: Due to the internet outage at school, ACT ASPIRE testing for virtual students has BEEN POSTPONED. NO testing will be done on campus today. Science teachers will communicate with students when possible to let them know if and when the new testing date will occur.

OGMS Virtual Students: Make plans NEXT FRIDAY, November 20, to be on campus at 9:45 am for ACT Aspire Science Interim testing. Testing will be from 10:00 am to 11:00 am, and you will need to bring your Chromebook (make sure you charge it the night before). Check in with the front office, and you will be escorted to the testing area (physically distanced, of course).

FYI: PSD is experiencing an internet outage on all campuses. Teachers may not be able to start their Zoom sessions with virtual students or respond to emails.
OGMS is experiencing internet issues so teachers may not be able to zoom with virtual students. Hopefully it will be fixed soon.
Due to some mistakes found in a few report cards, we are sending new report cards home today. Sorry for any confusion but we want to make sure all correct report cards get home. Virtual students will have new ones emailed to their accounts. ONLY THE BEST AT OGMS!
Picture retake day is Thursday, November 5th. If your child was absent on the original picture day, they will need to get their picture made. If you would like to purchase pictures, you must pay online and use the information on the flyer. ONLY THE BEST AT OGMS!

Report cards for first 9 weeks will be handed out to onsite students on Friday. Virtual students will have theirs emailed to them on Monday. Certificates for Principal List, Honor Roll and Special Classes will be handed out next week. Congratulations to all students that successfully completed the first 9 weeks. ONLY THE BEST AT OGMS!
