A variety of measures will remain in place to ensure the safest learning environment possible. The Paragould School District is fully committed to the health and safety of all students, staff and visitors. We are proud of the actions that were taken to ensure a safe start to the school year and encourage everyone to continue to do their part to limit the spread of COVID-19.

PDF copies of the OGMS 5th and 6th grade AMI Days packets have been uploaded to our website. To access these files and print them, please go to https://www.paragould.k12.ar.us/o/ogms
From there, click on Menu < Documents < AMI Day Packets. Once you click on the file, it should open in a window that will allow you to print from a desktop or laptop. If using a phone or tablet with no way to print, your child can complete the work on a separate sheet of paper.
These packets are also available on Google Classroom for your child; they can log on and find them there.
You can also email (or have your child email) your child's homeroom teacher, Mr. Dial (jdial@paragouldschools.net), or Mrs. Cook (kcook@paragouldschools.net) to get a copy of the AMI packets.
Questions? Please feel free to contact our office at 870-240-2241.
Stay safe and warm!

Have you ordered your yearbook yet? Now is the time! Go to jostens.com to set up an account and order!

As winter is upon us so is the potential threat of wintry weather and possible school closures. The letter below is from our superintendent, Dr. Jankoviak, and outlines the AMI process that PSD will utilize this year in case of school closures. Packets will come home tomorrow (Wednesday 1/5/22). Please keep these in a safe place until they are needed.

Our character ornament tree is full of fabulous ornaments! Very soon, we will begin uploading images of each of the character ornaments for 5th grade, 6th grade, and our big kids (AKA our staff). Keep an eye out on our Facebook page. Remember, for the votes to count, you have to visit the original post on Facebook and like the photo from there.
We are so excited to share our student and staff creations!

We are SO EXCITED about next week's dress up days and activities! Check out our dress up schedule, and feel free to send in your early morning "before they get to school" dress up day photos! You can email them to kcook@paragouldschools.net or spoindexter@paragouldschools.net

We began a new tradition this year. Senior athletes are choosing the teacher who made the most impact on their life and presenting them with an invitation to join them at Senior Night and a t-shirt with their name on the back. Today we are thankful for new traditions and for our faculty who truly does MAKE A DIFFERENCE!

Today we are thankful for students learning to use an Atlas and the globe and for an Assistant Principal who takes time out of his day to work one-on-one with a student on math homework.
