Intramural Volleyball has begun! Parents, if your kiddo is participating in intramural volleyball, here is the information sheet with practice dates, game dates, and times for each. We have successfully completed three weeks of school (officially after tomorrow). Due to the students low numbers of discipline referrals in both grades, all OGMS students can wear a hat to school tomorrow. And don’t forget, no school Monday! ONLY THE BEST AT OGMS!

Health and safety will always remain a top priority for the Paragould School District. In April of 2022 the district discontinued the practice of contact tracing/quarantining of probable close contacts and reimplemented policy 4.34 as the district’s response to student illnesses. We continue to utilize policy 4.34 to guide our response to illnesses. Anyone who tests positive for COVID-19 will be required to isolate at home for 5 days from the onset of symptoms or a positive test. The Arkansas Department of Health guidance states that the isolated individual may return to school on day 6 with a mask and must continue to wear the mask around others through the 10th day. If the Individual is unable to wear a mask, he/she will be required to continue to isolate for the full 10 days. STUDENT TUNNEL for the athlete's run through onto the field - For the first time ever, we are inviting all PSD students in grades K-12 to join us on the field for the athlete run through. The Paragould School District Master Facility Plan includes a PE facility on the high school campus. As part of the planning process, the district has arranged for a public meeting to take place on Thursday, August 25 at 6:00pm in the high school auditorium. During the meeting we will discuss partnership funding and various options for future construction. Those in attendance will also be provided with the opportunity to provide district leadership with feedback. We hope to see you there!

Volleyball will be starting up soon. If your daughter is interesting in playing this year, please fill out the registration by August 26th. We are looking forward to watching some volleyball. ONLY THE BEST AT OGMS!!

OGMS Open House is TONIGHT! We begin 6th grade at 5:00pm in the gym; 5th grade at 6:00 pm in the gym. We'll start in the bleachers at each time on the dot, and then students will be able to get schedules and meet teachers. Can't wait to see everyone!

Hi Parents and Families! We just wanted to remind everyone that, for the middle school, students will get teacher information during our Open House Event or on the first day of school. Meet in the OGMS gym at open house for a brief parent meeting, and then students will get their schedules and be able to tour the building. Can't make it to Open House? That's okay! We'll have a schedule ready to go for your kiddos when they get here on the first day. We will see everyone soon!
