No School on Monday, November 6. Teachers will be on campus receiving professional development.

Picture Retake Day is this Friday, November 3! If your child missed the first picture day or you need them to actually smile and need a retake, please send them dressed in their best on Friday!
You can pre-order online using the attached code.
This will be the LAST opportunity to get student photos taken for the yearbook, so please make sure your student is photo ready if they haven't had their picture taken yet. :)

Thanks SO MUCH to everyone who helped put the dance together on Friday. We had a BLAST and could not have done it without the fantastic group of parents and helpers we had on Friday.
HUGE shoutout to Scatter Creek for donating some gorgeous pumpkins for our photo booths.
Pictures will come soon.
If you donated pumpkins and mums and want them back, please let me know! We’d like to have them out of the building today. Anything left over this afternoon will be given to staff.

OGMS was blessed to listen to a true local historian today. Mr. Bob Branch came out and discussed the history of each one of our houses. Our house system is named after 6 famous and very important members that influenced the area of Paragould and surrounding Greene County. He spoke to six different groups today and it was amazing. ONLY THE BEST AT OGMS!

Don't forget our parent volunteer training for OGMS parents who are helping with the dance. We'll see you at 5:30!

Dyslexia is real. Dyslexia is common. Dyslexia is lifelong. There are ways you can help your students with dyslexia. Take a look at this week's dyslexia information. Tons of great information including dyslexia markers at different ages.

Tonight is THE night! The district's homecoming celebrations are wrapping up this evening with our homecoming game tonight at Ram Stadium. The district has several things planned for the evening.
*JROTC is hosting Tailgates and Touchdowns from 4-6 pm. Students will eat for free, but a donation of $5 per person is being asked for any guests or adults who wish to eat. This helps fund further tailgates for games.
*PSD students are encouraged to participate in the student Run Through; it will happen at approximately 6:45 pm, right after the Ram Walk.
*PSD alumni are welcome! It's homecoming after all! This year, PSD will have a tent set up specifically for alumni. We can't wait to see you back on campus!
