Today we are thankful for our staff and faculty who spend time outside of school hours volunteering. This Ready, Set, Read event is just one example of how Rams give back to our community!





At 12pm today there will be 300 Thanksgiving meals handed out to those in need at Labor Park. See the flyer below for more information. Thankful for our giving community.

Congratulations to Slayden Moris for being the FIRST 3rd grade student to earn a Brag Button this school year. Way to go, Slayden!


Meet 2nd grade student Avery Jones! She was selected by Mrs. Rogers to be October Citizen of the month. Avery loves the color yellow, eating pizza & donuts and watching "Spy Ninja's". She enjoys reading Fairy books, going shopping with her Mawmaw and doing gymnastics at home. Avery we are so proud of you, keep on shining!


Congratulations to Alessandro Lozoya, in Mrs. Eastep's 2nd grade classroom. She selected Alessandro to be her October Citizen of the Month. He loves the color blue, watching Spongebob, eating spaghetti and reading the book series "Bad Guy". Alessandro's favorite thing to do is go fishing and he believes that learning makes him special. We are so proud of you, keep being awesome Alessandro!


Meet 2nd grade student, Mersadie Poteet, from Mrs. Krissy's classroom. She was selected as October citizen of the month. Mersadie loves the color black, eating spaghetti and watching H2O mermaids. In her spare time Mersadie loves to read books, especially the "Explore the USA" series. Mersadie is great at drawing and also believes that everyone should be kind. Keep up the great work Mersadie!


Congratulation to 3rd grade student Wesley Wagner in Mrs. Madi's homeroom for being selected as her October Citizen of the Month. Wesley's favorite color is red, he loves eating pizza, watching "Ben Ten", reading the "Press Start" series and playing baseball, his favorite sport. Wesley believes he can make the world better by "picking everything up". Wesley thank you for being a great example of a good citizen, OGE is so proud of you!


Congratulation to 3rd grade student Keaton Wilhite, he was selected by Mrs. Marsha to be the October Citizen of the Month. Keaton's favorite color is blue, he enjoys watching "Curious George", eating alfredo noodles and reading "The Last Kid on Earth" book series. Keaton also enjoys jumping on his trampoline and riding his scooter! Keaton we are so proud of you for being a leader at OGE and making it the place to be!


Meet 2nd grade student, Ava Newsome. Mrs. Tonya selected Ava to be her October Citizen of the Month. Ava loves pink, reading the "Biscuit" series, eating burgers and watching "Big Time Rush". In her free time, Ava enjoys playing with her friends. When asked what makes her special, Ava answered "I'm funny". Congratulations Ava Newsome and keep being funny and awesome!
