2nd grader Khaleesi Lamb was the first Phonemic Awareness Star of the Day in Mrs. Morris’ room! Each day, Mrs. Morris watches for the student that is participating and engaging the most in the short phonemic awareness lesson. They get the Super Star Award to sit on their desk for the rest of the day and a bag of chips to eat at lunch! We've enjoyed two great read alouds at Baldwin over the last few weeks! I read The Wonderful Wizard of Oz to our 2nd and 3rd graders as well as The Insignificant Events in the Life of a Cactus to our 4th graders.
