Welcome to Paragould Public Schools

Paragould School District is a consolidated district comprising the former districts of Oak Grove, Stanford, and Paragould. Some 2,900 K-12 students are enrolled in the district. Three neighborhood elementary schools, Baldwin, Oak Grove, and Woodrow Wilson, serve kindergartners through fourth graders. Oak Grove Middle School, a unique neighborhood campus, is home to fifth and sixth graders. The young students learn and mature in an environment that feels "grown up" without the elementary students while lacking the social stresses of junior and senior high. Seventh and eighth graders attend Paragould Junior High School, while Paragould High School is home to freshmen through seniors.

The district also includes The School of the 21st Century, a unique concept providing comprehensive child care for infants and toddlers with before/after school care programs. All schools in the district are accredited by the North Central Association of Schools and Colleges.

Mission Statement

The mission of Paragould School District is to provide a stimulating learning environment encompassing print, electronic, and human resources supported by sound technology practices and equipment. Instructional programs (for the entire learning community) in educational technologies and the use of communication tools will facilitate greater student achievement and promote long term productivity.
