Eligible students (no OSS, ISS, excessive absences, no more than 2 detentions, no bus referrals, no more than 2 zeros on work), will be able to attend the Spring Fling Fiesta tonight! There will be a DJ, cotton candy, chips and cheese dip, water, pictures made, etc. Students will be dropped off at the front entrance. 5th grade pick ups at 8:00 will also be at the front entrance. But 6th grade pick ups will be at the back entrance. ALL vehicles ARE REQUIRED to have the appropriate blue car tag before students will be allowed to enter any vehicle. Call the school office if you have questions.

The ASU of Education and Behavior Science is pleased to annouce we are sponsoring this progra for high school students who are interested in a professional carerr in education. The institute will take place July 20, 2017 from 8:30-3:30. It is being held in  Spring River Room, Reng Student Union at ASU. This event is FREE of charge and a complimentary luncheon and t-shirt will be provided to all participants. Parking will be available to all registered participants in the parking garage attached to the Reng Student Union. Ready2Teach is designed for college-bound students who have completed their junior or senior year by June 2017. This program especially seeks future teachers interested in teaching in critical shortage subjects such as Art, Computer Science, Mathematics, Music, Science, Social Studies, Spanish and Special Education. Rising juniors with exceptional academic standing will be considered as well. Students from diverse backgrounds as well as males are particularly encourage to apply. During the summer institute, student collaborate with teacher education majors, public school teachers and university faculty as they develop teaching skills and build an apreciation for the field of education. Additionally, information about scholarships, grant and student loan forgiveness will be disseminated.
